Of Land and Sea began four years ago as three friends who learned of each others shared interest in music. The band started playing music as a hobby after work and when the feedback on the sound was positive Of Land and Sea was born. Each member of the band has a different interest in music which contributes to the unique indie-beach-pop-rock that has become hard to define but a staple of the band's sound. Of Land and Sea wants their music to be up-beat and a welcomed relief from the stress of everyday life and comes naturally as the music was created during, and for, college times.

Of Land and Sea got involved with Talkback Records for the creation and "Summertime Serenade" which brought to light a group of strong songs from the past years of shows and recordings.

"Summertime Serenade" calls to mind sun drenched afternoons spent hanging out with friends and trying to figure out what your life has been and where it is going. "Summertime Serenade" aims to encourage listeners that even though they may not have all the answers now, they are out there.
